There are far too many smart, qualified and hard-working Pennsylvanians who have lost their jobs or are underemployed. I have a multi-faceted approach to put Pennsylvania back to work.

The state must do its part to address problems of costs, resources, programs, and personnel in public education. The solution is to ensure that education funding is being spent wisely, and that we are benchmarking from programs and policies that are working in other states and bringing them to our commonwealth.

Approximately one million out of our 12 million citizens have no health coverage of any kind. Every Pennsylvanian is entitled to quality, affordable healthcare I believe a single-payer system is the most cost-effective way of tackling rising costs and limited coverage.
