Chet Beiler, 46, is a native of Gap, Pennsylvania.

Chet was raised on a 100 acre farm in Gap, Pennsylvania with his three brothers and four sisters. After graduating from high school, Chet's family farm was struck by a fire that destroyed their feed supply, forcing this young family of ten to sell everything, move in with relatives, and begin a new way of life. Following this set back, Chet worked for two years helping to support his family until they were re-established financially.

Chet then accepted a scholarship to Pepperdine University in California, where he excelled in business and economics. Following graduation, Chet returned to Pennsylvania and in 1989 he started a gazebo business which he has built into the nation's leading gazebo retailer. He is also a partner in several other Pennsylvania businesses. Chet understands the principles and teamwork it takes to run a successful business. His years of business professional experience have demonstrated that he is the right leader to inspect how Pennsylvania's government uses its tax dollars.

Chet began his public career while in college. He had the great privilege of working with the Reagan-Bush re-election campaign of 1984. He was appointed to the White House West Coast Advance team, and was part of Nancy Reagan's California motorcade.

Whether as a youth delegate to the Republican National Convention, Chairman of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County, Statewide Candidate Coordinator, or as a Campaign Director, Chet has been actively involved in politics throughout his life. He has experience working in local, statewide, and national campaigns, and understands what it takes to win an election.

His small-town values and business principles are the foundation for holding the government accountable to the people. He is eager to wake up each morning and apply his business and political experience to the singular goal of protecting your tax dollars.

Chet has championed a variety of causes and organizations throughout his life. He believes that strong communities are the backbone of our society. Chet regularly volunteers at the Salvation Army, the Water Street Rescue Mission in Lancaster and with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Lancaster, corporation board member at Lancaster Bible College and board member of the Civil Society Project in Washington, D.C.

He and his wife Sharon and their two daughters have a home in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Chet and his family attend Grace Church in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
