It is time for me to step forward to do my part because I believe that most of us are concerned about higher and more taxes, concerned about respect for human life, and absolutely concerned that our elected representatives no longer represent us. If Freedom and Opportunity become unattainable in our country, our children, unlike our ancestors, may not have anywhere else to go seeking the Freedom and Opportunity necessary to achieve the American Dream. For me, putting our country back in the right direction is now. As evidenced by the Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution and the Bill of Rights, our Founding Fathers were people of great wisdom and knowledge. I believe there is overwhelming evidence that our Founding Fathers wanted government service to be of a limited time. George Washington set the example by not seeking a third term as President. I have been a part of the private sector for my entire working career and have paid taxes for over 38 straight years. I believe that this kind of experience is what is needed now to fix the mess that is Washington.
