The Canons of Ethics limit the responses that a judge or judicial candidate can make. But my entire 26+ year career on the bench has been spent adhering to a judicial philosophy that respects the law as it exists, and respects the rights of all parties who appear before me.

I have had the honor of being appointed to the Ohio Supreme Court Sentencing Commission which was charged with the responsibility of re-writing the Juvenile Code, and currently serve as legislative chair of the Appellate Judges Association. It is from these positions that I have had the opportunity to impact the law itself..not from an attempt to change existing law through a judicial decision.

I am honored to serve the citizens of Hamiton County and take my oath of office - to render justice in a fair and timely method - very seriously.
