I am running to continue my efforts to promote sound planning and strong financial administration in the Village. Croton has long benefited from long-range planning until it was curtailed by the prior administration. The purchase of the parking lot, the acquisition of the Hudson River waterfront, the development of Croton Landing Park, and the completion of a new Comprehensive Plan are all examples of planning efforts with which I have been involved. The last year has seen a resurgence of long-range planning for the Village. Ultimately, it is this type of planning that can and will make the difference in the Village's financial picture in coming years. Planning for a village that is vibrant while maintaining its small-village quality is the overriding aim of my candidacy.
