The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) stated there were no complaints fi led against me and, consequently, the recall signature gathers lied to the voters when they stated I was being investigated by the FPPC. (Whittier Daily News Article)

I am asking you to VOTE NO ON THE RECALL. Voting yes would be a vote for deception.

Regarding special interests supporting me, we are all special interests. My interest and your interest is a better Montebello.

We deserve potholes being fi xed, trash picked up, trees trimmed, more recreation areas, new restaurants, increased shopping and entertainment options. I have always worked hard for these and will continue to work hard for them with your support. Vote No on the Recall.

The other complaint against me is that I have not condemned Councilman Robert Urteaga. I have dedicated my life to helping people recover, either as a nurse or as director of a social service agency. I don't condemn people and my faith does not allow me to do anything but help.

VOTE NO ON THE RECALL and let's move Montebello forward!!

La Comisión de Prácticas Honestas en la Política (FPPC, siglas en inglés) manifestó que no se había presentado ninguna queja en contra mía y, por consiguiente, los recolectores de fi rmas para mi destitución les mintieron a los electores cuando declararon que yo estaba siendo investigada por la Comisión de Prácticas Honestas en la Política (FPPC, siglas en inglés). Les pido que VOTEN NO A LA DESTITUCION. Al votar sí, esto sería un voto obtenido mediante engaños.

En cuanto a la acusación de que los grupos de interés me apoyan, todos pertenecemos a algún grupo de interés especial. Mis intereses y los de ustedes son a favor de lograr una mejor Ciudad de Montebello.

Merecemos que se arreglen los baches en las calles, que se recoja la basura, que se poden los árboles, que haya más áreas de recreación, nuevos restaurantes, mayores opciones para ir de compras y de entretenimiento. Yo siempre he trabajado fuertemente para lograr todo esto, y seguiré trabajando igualmente para continuar disfrutando de dichos servicios con el apoyo de ustedes. Voten No a la Destitución.

La otra queja en contra mía es que no he condenado al miembro del Concejo, Robert Urteaga. Yo he dedicado mi vida a ayudar a que se recuperen las personas, ya sea como enfermera o como directora de una agencia de servicios sociales. Yo no condeno a las personas, y mi fe no lo permite, sólo me permite ayudar a la gente.

!!VOTEN NO A LA DESTITUCION, y logremos que Montebello siga hacia adelante!!
