Candidate for
Member of City Council to succeed George Barich; City of Cotati

For my entire life I have cared for and about people. I am a mother, wife, grandmother, quilt maker, volunteer, organizer, entrepreneur, and lover of simple things. I believe in the good we all possess and that, together, we have the potential to create a place that truly represents "Justice for All," not only for those who can afford it. I believe we should live within our means, care for those who have less, and find sustainable solutions to our problems.

I've lived in London, England, Colorado, Oregon, Wyoming and, since 1978, Cotati. I have a BA in both Business Management and Art from Sonoma State. I co-founded and managed a small Cotati business, "Making It Big."

I regularly attend council meetings, budget discussions and special meetings to understand and participate in city government. Currently I'm the Chairperson of the Planning Commission where I attempt careful and balanced decision-making.

Cotati is in trouble. We, as a city, need creative solutions beyond belt tightening, taxes and development. Listening to each other and doing our homework is key. I'm a thoughtful person who works hard and pays attention to the details. I will work tirelessly for you. I'd appreciate your vote.
