BIOGRAPHY

Adam M. Beloff, Esquire, was born in South Philadelphia to Ruth and Stanley Beloff, and was raised in a family of six children. He first became involved in politics when he was elected Judge of the Municipal Court during Student Day at his local grammar school.

He attended George Washington University in Washington D.C., receiving a B.A. in Public Affairs. He then attended Catholic University and St. Louis University as part of his continuing education abroad in Spain. After returning to the U.S., he attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While in law school, he successfully competed on the National Trial Team, gaining more experience in legal interpretation and advocacy.

After law school, Adam worked for the Hon. Louis G.F. Retacco (dec.), Hon. Eric Lillian (Ret.), and the Hon. John O'Grady at the Criminal Justice Center in Center City, Philadelphia.

Adam is a trial litigator, certified mediator, and arbitrator. He currently practices in Philadelphia and New Jersey, representing clients in both State and Federal Courts. He married his partner Christine (Hope) Beloff, Esquire, a well known criminal defense and family law attorney. Their practice focuses on divorce, alimony, child support, child custody, adoption, name changes, child relocation, asset protection, domestic violence, real estate transactions, civil claims, criminal and juvenile matters.

Adam has a lifelong commitment to community service. He served as the president of the South Seventh Street Redevelopment Association and has been a volunteer to the Miss Columbus Day Scholarship pageant for 30 years. He is now the pageant's Chairman of Judges. He has volunteered and judged National Mock Trial Competitions including the John S. Bradway High School Mock Trial Competition at Temple University, sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the American Mock Trial Invitational at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Adam is a member of many of the local bar associations and other organizations that place a premium on community service. Through these organizations, he has been able to organize and present educational legal programs to his colleagues, participate in "adopt a family" donation drives at Christmas, and sit on several committees.

Adam has been Recomended by the Philadelphia Bar Asociation.
