I strongly feel that school board directors need to be out and about in the community and at school events. They must contribute to creating a positive working and learning environment for the district employees and the students attending the schools.
- How will I help control spending so that the budget can stay balanced/reasonable, allowing tax rates to stay relatively the same

I would promote a team approach whereby all district employees: administrators, teachers, support staff and even students would identify and help reduce wasteful spending so that resources could be directed to important programs they would want to see continue.
