This information is provided by the candidate

I am committed to excellence in education and feel strongly that a quality education is the key to one's future success. I understand the proper role of a director, work collaboratively with others and focus on what is in the best interest of students, while recognizing that taxpayer funds are not limitless.

If elected, I will work to: (a) maintain a district-wide focus on maximizing the academic achievement of all students, with emphasis on reducing the achievement gap; (b) promote greater student use of technology, including distance learning; (c) hold the district accountable for accomplishing results using quantifiable data; and (d) work to ensure that approved expenditures are worthwhile and directly linked to improving student achievement. In addition, I will apply my legal training and experience to assist the board in its work.
