Candidate for
Council Member; Borough of Media

Daniel Patrick Costello has been a member of the Media Borough Planning Commission since 2006 and has played a role in improvements to town codes such as the Baltimore Pike overlay, transitional buffer zones, historic overlay ordinance, and lot impervious coverage. Dan has served in subcommittee work that has resulted in the drafting and implementation of planning commission bylaws as well as an ongoing comprehensive review of zoning districts. Dan presently serves on the Subdivision and Land Development Review subcommittee, a committee working towards the creation of a subdivision and land development ordinance taylor-made to fit the modern needs of the borough.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Temple University as well as a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from the Fox School of Business. Dan presently works for a real estate investment trust in Philadelphia.

Dan resides on East 4th Street with his wife, Kelly and three children, their oldest just beginning kindergarten at Media Elementary School.
