I believe that one of our greatest rights as Americans is that all children are entitled to a free quality public education. Providing all our children with educational opportunities is necessary in creating a better society.

I believe we need to prepare all children in our city to become successful and productive citizens. We need strong schools in order to ensure that we continue to maintain a balanced and economically sound and safer city. Education is the key to producing residents that attract stable employers and reduces crime and social costs over the lifespan of our citizens. It is simply basic and conservative good sense to invest in the educational institutions of our region.
