Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

We live in difficult times and need a responsible business minded leader to move us forward. I have spent my entire career working for some of the world's largest companies, and learning the principals which have made America an economic powerhouse. I would like to apply these lessons to government.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

To address our community's declining business district we will need to work with a city planner who has a proven track record of success. I will also work closely with council and the Cheviot Business Association to determine incentives to help promote our existing businesses, and entice new business to our city. City Council needs to have an open line of communication with our business leaders, and regular reports on the state of our business district.

3. What two actions would you promote to enhance city revenue or decrease city expenditures in order to balance the city budget, given the current economic conditions? (100 word limit)

Professionally, I have an esteemed history of finding the solutions to difficult problems. It will require a sharp mind with an ability to think outside the box to meet Cheviot's challenges. I plan to increase our revenue without raising taxes on the otherwise burdened community. We can do this by creating a successful business district which adds capital and jobs to our city. By working with realtors we can also bring new families into our community and invest them with the pride we all hold in our hometown.
