Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

I have a business background centering around person to person relationships. I have been in business for myself and have a good understanding of what it would take to improve business disticts. I have an overall genuine concern for my neighbors and what they think are important issues.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

I plan to work with Council to come with an urban develpoement plan to keep the businesses we have, in Cheviot and to develope business opportunities with the "empty spaces" we have. I plan to work with council to ensure the fiscal responsibilty we have with the new tax dollars and make sure the funds are put to their absolute best use. I plan to enhance current and develope new community action groups to help in the oversight of safety to keep Cheviot the great place to live, it already is.

4. What steps should the local government take to ensure that the quality of rental property meets minimum legal standards? (100 word limit)

I believe if we work directly with those property owners and let them clearly know these expectations, we can achieve this. When necessary, it is important for the city to enforce the laws set in place if these expectations are not met.
