? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Kevin M. Rhodes:

I have worked in City, County & Township government. I have seen first hand the bureaucracy & red tape that costs taxpayers their hard earned money. My goal is to put an end to the wastefulness & the arrogance many politicians thrive on. I commit to working for YOU.

Answer from Michael D. Davis:

I have served the residents of Delhi for the last six years as their trustee and am currently President of the Board of Trustees.. I think this is best qualification one can offer for this position-experience!

Answer from Marijane E. Klug:

I have over 21 years of governmental experience with the City of Cincinnati. I serve as the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Cincinnati's Parks Board. I have a very good understanding of government and the issues that government faces each year in bringing services to the taxpayers/citizens.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Marijane E. Klug:

I'm not in favor of any new taxes for the citizen's of Delhi Township in the near future and I promise to bring an enhanced accountability to the Township. As Trustee,I will work with the other Trustees and the Administrator to provide more efficient and effective services to the citizen's of Delhi within the current budget constraints and work toward reserving funds for future uses. I will bring improved communications to the community on all the issues at hand. As Trustee, I will work to generate economic development for the Township to retain residents and attract new residents.

Answer from Michael D. Davis:

My top priority is to work with our Administrator, Department Heads, Financial Advisory Board, and other trustees in a united effort to find additional ways to generate revenue in the township without always going to the residents asking for tax increases. We must live within our means. We are all feeling the financial pinch and must continue to be frugal in spending practices of the township. We must seriously address the need for a property/building maintenance code that actually helps to keep and maintain our beautiful homes in Delhi. We must also continue to provide the best possible safety services...

Answer from Kevin M. Rhodes:

I would encourage my fellow board members to immediately enact & proactively enforce a property maintenance code. I will review all department budgets & expenditures to ensure taxpayers are getting the best possible services for their money. Finally, I will commit to not voting for any new taxes.
