? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Tricia Hackney:

I've been an active volunteer within our school district and community for 9 years. I have the ALL kids' best interest at heart and believe that change is necessary for the success of our schools.

Answer from Gabriel "Gabe" Sanders:

I believe my qualifications for this position are strengthen by my occupation, my family and community involvement.

With more than ten years in the financial service market I believe I would bring greater insight to the board in regards to financial affairs of the school district.

Being a father of ....

Answer from Joe E Wheeler:

I've Served 16 years, I have the education and experience to understand how funding for the schools is always changing. To make all decisions based on their merits and never what is the easy political way out. To remember we work for the residents, and Remember the Kids come first.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Joe E Wheeler:

I pay close attention to our funding, ask what benefit every program has for our students. I have helped see that the board's pay has never been raised as allowed for last 20 years. I always know the agenda and come prepared, and have voted differently more than all members, when needed. I know how to run our meetings as a former Union President, and would say I know Roberts Rules of Order the best.I have only ONE AGENDA and that makes it easy I only care about keeping the interests of the students first. I will never vote to Raise your TAXES.

Answer from Tricia Hackney:

1. Become a more approachable Board so that people feel comfortable coming to us by treating them with respect.
2. Make decisions by determining what is best for the greatest number of children within our district and not just focus on certain groups.
3. Explain decisions, do things out in the open; foster a positive relationship with community members and parents
