? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Andrea R. Brady:

I've worked with MEVSD for 7 years, helping find efficiencies while maintaining excellence in education. I have the experience and knowledge to help the district through upcoming challenges. I have proven able to find creative yet cost-efficient solutions through district-level committees. I am committed to responsible spending & due diligence.

Answer from Robert D. Hewlett:

I have been involved with the school board for 2 years; member of the Superintendant's Communication Committee; 2008 District Captain Levy Campaign; walking and listening to the community; a strong background in management, Information technology and banking. I am a team player and passionate about the children and this community.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Robert D. Hewlett:

I will bring new fresh ideas. With my background in technology I will work with the teachers and administration to improve technology. By applying my leadership and business experience, I will work with the administration and local businesses to build better unity in the community and create additional opportunities for students and local businesses. As a banker and manager of multi-million dollar projects, I will apply my financial knowledge to continue to achieve excellence at a price we can afford. With a positive approach and continued community support, we can make Milford the best school and community in the area.

Answer from Andrea R. Brady:

By using common sense and an understanding of diverse community needs to answer the questions What? Why? And How much?, I can help find a balance that provides an excellent education for our students and keeps MEVSD a great, affordable place for us all to live. My experience working with the district has proven my ability to find ways to reduce expenses without affecting education. I will continue to talk with the community/other organizations to find additional solutions and efficiencies. I am committed to insuring the board has the proper information to make decisions based on due diligence.
