- Vested interest in the school district as I have school-age children enrolled in the elementary school
- Desire to serve the community
- Product of a public school system (Talawanda School District- Oxford, Oh)

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Anita E. Ruffin:

- Listen to and ask questions of parents, school administrators, students, and broader community to understand how I can meet their educational needs and aspirations as a Board Member.
-Stay abreast of educational trends and techniques and advances in technology that add value to the education process.
- Foster positive intenal and external relationships in the school district, township, and county and state.
