? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Gordon Williams:

As a Commissioner on Nowoord's Civil Board I have gain great insight to how the city works. And with over thirty years in the business world as a manager and salesman I know how work with everyone from the President of a major corporation to the residents of Norwood.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Gordon Williams:

1) I plan on becoming a member of the parks and Recreation Committee 2) I goal would be to offer my support too the Principle of Norwood High

)I will be holding monthly meetings with the residents of Ward 2 as well as meeting with members from Xavier

? 3. What two actions would you promote to enhance city revenue or decrease city expenditures in order to balance the city budget, given the current economic conditions? (100 word limit)

Answer from Gordon Williams:

The main thing I would work on is bring new business to Norwood in hopes of increasing or tax base as well as jobs for our residents

? 4. What steps should the local government take to ensure that the quality of rental property meets minimum legal standards? (100 word limit)

Answer from Gordon Williams:

The first thing I would is to enforce the local laws on rental property that we already have on the books.

The second thing I would want to do is to increase fines for the property owners who are in violation of the housing codes.
