Westchester County, NY November 3, 2009 Election
Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Susan M. (Stetson) Siegel

Candidate for
Supervisor; Town of Yorktown

This information is provided by the candidate

In local elections, what matters is who's the best person for the job, not the party line that the person is running on.

There's no Republican or Democratic way to plow a street, collect garbage or run a recreation program.

I'm a Democrat who's running as a Republican. My Democratic opponent was a Republican before he decided to run for supervisor in 2005.

I'm a person of action. And seeing the need for change in my community, I decided to act on my life long commitment to good government.

I know what needs to be done to modernize our antiquated and haphazard management systems. Yorktown residents deserve a more cost efficient and accountable town government. And I have the skills, experience and knowledge of local government to make that happen.
