Accountability and Transparency are the key components for open and honest government.I will pursue a Zero tolerence policy on corruption. I will put an end to politics in City Hall by drafting legislation prohibiting elected and appointed officials from political activity. This is necessary as one party rule has destroyed the quality of life in Mount Vernon. Goverment must be accountable and transparent to the people it serves. All allegations on impropriety will be thoroughly investigated by the inspector general who serve at the pleasure of the City Council. |
