The District Attorney must be above the mean politics of the grasp for power, must be trusted by the public, and feared by criminals, whatever their social position or political power.As a third party candidate, I have very little chance of being elected. That fact understood should not stop me from doing all I can to protect and foster the values that once made our country a beacon of light in a very dark world. Being a District Attorney places the holder of that position, if they perform as mandated by the description of their duties, as the unique person that will prevent all persons, politicians, corrupt attorneys and judges included, from wrecking further havoc on the social system we should all rely on to protect us from the effects of criminals, be they white collar or violent. Objective or absolute truth may not be popular in our world today, but the search for it should always remain our highest endeavor. |
