This information is provided by the candidate

I have lived in Katonah for over eight years with my husband, Michael, and two children: Chloe who is currently in the 9th grade at The Harvey School; and James who is now in the 5th grade at Katonah Elementary School. In 2001 we moved here from Chicago where my husband and I were both born and raised.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing from Northern Illinois University. My professional experience includes ten years with the National Accounts Division of Automatic Data Processing; a New Jersey based Fortune 500 Company, where I managed a client support team responsible for the human resource account management of several large corporations including MCI, Motorola and Household Finance.

After moving to New York I worked part-time for the Westchester County Parks and Recreation department in Mt. Kisco and then for two years in media communications at The Gold Standard in Katonah. In 2006 I became co-owner of the Richard Oliver House, a men's and women's clothing store in existence since 1955 and located in Bedford Village.

I currently serve as the Secretary for the Junior League of Northern Westchester Board of Governors for the 2009-2010 service year. I am also currently the Co-President of the Katonah Village Improvement Society as well as VP of Communications for the Bedford Dog Owners Group.

Highlights of my past volunteer positions include Parent Council Representative for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District, PTO Co-President for the Katonah Elementary School, a member of the Westchester County District Attorney's Animal Anti-Cruelty Task Force as well as a Troop Leader for the Girls Scouts of Westchester/Putnam from 2001 through 2006.
