General Statement of Positions and Principles
I support the maintenance of effective public safety services, strong economic development that supports a prosperous community, the preservation of fiscal integrity and accountability, responsible budget policies to achieve sustainable City government without increasing taxes, the restoration of an effective street and infrastructure maintenance program, and the development of a strong cultural tourist program.
Past Stands on Important Issues
I led the Coalition Against Measure "O" saving $250 million dollars for taxpayers, fought fiscal irresponsibility in water agency management, stood for protection of water quality, and was a pioneer in development of modern standards for emergency medical services.
Voters deserve to know how a candidate responds to special interest organizations whose endorsement he or she seeks.
