Infrastructure: Focused rebuilding and maintenance.

Once elected, I will consider all ideas that support smart local land use planning and I will personally lobby for the best.
>Clean Energy/ "Green" Technology:

-Focus on implementing smart power grid technology, renewable energy & invest in innovative practices to achieve greater energy efficiency and reduce energy usage & waste.

-Renovate public buildings to make them more energy efficient.

-Plug-in hybrid vehicle technology to position our city for the next generation of American cars.

-Lure facilities that manufacture components for the production of renewable energy, advanced battery technology, and other innovative next-generation green technologies.

-Improve the energy efficiency of homes through weatherization.

-Invest in energy efficiency upgrades in public housing, including new windows, furnaces, and insulation to improve living conditions for residents and lower the cost of operating these facilities.

-Use human waste-water/sewage to make the fuel of the future while also treating sewage employing algae.

>Transform our Economy with Science and Technology:

-Lure research and development facilities.

-Train students for an innovative economy, and in deploying new technologies into the marketplace. This will help businesses in every community succeed in a global economy.

-Invest in scientific research facilities.

-Invest in computer and robot technology facilities.

>Modernize Roads, Bridges, & Public Transit:

-Improving public transit and building light rail transportation will save commuters time and money in the long term, will reduce traffic congestion, and our dependence on foreign oil.

-Improving and maintaining roads by adding bicycle lanes everywhere!

-Safer streets, healthier communities.

-Build to compete.

-More options, less driving.

-Adding hundreds of trees to line the roads for natural shade.

--We need to refocus our transportation program on our existing urbanized places + our core areas in our city & our existing suburbs + to accommodate our future growth.

>Downtown, including along the freeway.

-Condominiums for working class citizens (No section 8 or welfare allowed!).

-High rise buildings to build up instead of urban sprawling.

-Organize the streets/blocks into "entertainment districts": nightclubs, bars, restaurants, art, etc.

-Assist business owners with relocation.
