Our country has been and will be facing major financial challenges. At the same time, we have many vital projects that need to be accomplished in the midst of these poor economic conditions. Our City is a healthy City. Our City Council should have five qualified individuals with various solid and proven expertise to help Brisbane continue its successful future course.

I am the only candidate that has over 29 years of financial expertise both in public and private sectors. I am known as "Efficiency Expert." I assist public and sector organizations to "do more with less."

My extensive financial background has been an asset during these challenging economic times. We have developed a balanced budget that reduced personnel and operating expenses while still funding programs that reflect the needs and values of our community.

To address our long-term infrastructure needs, we placed a business license tax measure on the ballot. The hotel room tax on the November ballot is another example of our efforts to generate revenues without increasing the burden on our residents.

We now face important development choices that will have a profound impact on our community. I pledge to ensure that any development projects on the Baylands and Sierra Point reflect the community's vision and preserve our small town atmosphere.

Preservation of our small town atmosphere must be compatible with any efforts for economic development. Now more than ever, the City Council needs experienced leaders who have earned your confidence, your trust, and have a proven track record of accomplishment.

I will work to expand citizen input and participation while supporting a new library, a high school, safeguarding our open space, implementing neighborhood watch programs, advocating for airport noise reduction, and promoting sustainable energy practices.

I will use my financial, governmental expertise and problem solving skills to serve the needs of Brisbane as I have demonstrated in the past. Once again, I need your help to accomplish the above list of goals. I will work to keep Brisbane a community where our children are safe and our lives are enriched by improved services.

In Summary, I will continue to SUPPORT and WORK toward:

COMMUNITY PRIORITIES
