Limit the Influence of Interests Outside Diamond Bar
Currently, a candidate for Diamond Bar City Council can receive unlimited amounts of contributions for their campaign. Many other cities have campaign limits. For instance the City of Irvine has a limitation of $440. This limitation would restrict elected officials from accepting campaign contributions, gifts, or paid work from anyone involved in a project that required City Council action. This would protect the integrity of our city government.
