Hawthorne has come a long way, and we've still got a long road ahead of us.

My candidacy for City Council is about bringing accountability and transparency back to local government. As Hawthorne's City Clerk, I am looking to continue my public service elected to serve on the City Council.

Having lived in Hawthorne for 22 years, I've witnessed firsthand the concerns of the residents of Hawthorne and stand ready to step to the plate to do my part to make a difference. Building coalitions and relationships is what I've done for over 12 years on all three levels of government.

I believe in keeping Hawthorne business and family friendly.

I won't disappear or be too busy for the people of Hawthorne after election day. Accountability and responsibility to the residents of Hawthorne remains an integral part of my community service.

The residents of Hawthorne can count on me to work to make sure that Hawthorne is a family friendly city that is safe for all residents including children and seniors.

I am for job creation that strengthens the community and maintains the integrity of Hawthorne's enhanced business district.

As a parent and the former president of the Leuzinger High School PTA, parents can count on me to work with the local school district to ensure that students in Hawthorne are provided the best education to make them eligible to compete in today's job market.

I believe that Hawthorne can do better and that the road to change starts today.

I remain committed in the empowering this community--my community--our community.
