- Have been a strong, visible presence in all school campuses throughout the school district. I have established innumerable relationships with teachers, staff, students and parents.
- Contributed to the establishment of a school district foundation to raise funds for scholarships and other students' needs.
- Brought innovative ideas on redevelopment of school sites, maximizing the use of school properties to benefit the school district and surrounding communities.
- Developed a partnership with County Supervisor Don Knabe which resulted in the following projects for the betterment of the community:
oNew swimming pool at Los Altos High School
oRefurbishing the Wilson High School swimming pool
oUsing the Hillgrove site to build a Community Center type project
- Developed a partnership with County Supervisor Gloria Molina which resulted in the following project for the betterment of the community:
oNew Library for Baldwin Academy
oCurrently planning other projects
- Established a partnership with Rio Hondo College Automotive Department to create the Workman High School Automotive Technology class.
- Established a partnership with the Pacific Palms Resort to support Workman High School.
- Successfully maintained a fiscally sound district during turbulent financial times in our State's economy.
