Robert F. Casagrand has served the nation, community and school district with distinction for most of his life. A true public servant willing to put his reputation on the line for what he believes is the right thing to do. A man of honor, character and integrity.
Most experienced candidate running for School Director:

Served on the Hatboro-Horsham School Board for twelve (12) years (1991-2003)with distinction.

- Board Vice President
- Teacher contract negotiation committee in 2003. Held the line on teacher raises and insisted on healthcare reform to include co-pays by the union. Resulting contract was fair to both parties and resulted in a $1.5M reduction to the taxpayers. Unfortunately, holding the line required an 11 day teacher strike. In the end, the deal was fair to both the union and the taxpayers.
- Appointed member of the Eastern Montgomery Vocational Technology board.
- Chairman of the Facilities committee with oversight of the additions at the Keith Valley Middle School and the Hatboro-Horsham High School
- Appointed member of the Personnel committee

Thirty-two (32) years of service in military service.

- Currently a Commander in the US Navy Reserve
- Two tours of duty in the Middle East during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
- Commanding Officer of a commissioned battalion with reponsibility for over 300 sailors, both officer and enlisted.

Five (5) years of service to the Horsham Parks & Recreation Board

- Co-chaired the Horsham Day committee from 1990-1995. Resurrected the event after years of no Horsham Day recognition.
- Key member of the Open Space Committee responsible for the numerous open space and walking trails within the township.

Proven track record of exceptional public service. Truly dedicated to his fellow man and woman and to his community and nation!!
