Mission Statement:

-To serve with integrity.
-To serve and make decisions based on my true conscience.
-To do my best at all times.
-To continue to learn and improve.
-To serve the people of Folcroft with all the above attributes.

Born and raised in North Philadelphia, I graduated from Mastbaum High School in 1982. I received a BS degree in Marketing from Chestnut Hill College, and a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership from Neumann College. At some point in the near future, I plan on pursuing a PhD in Business Administration due to my insatiable need to learn and the possibility of some day teaching at the collegiate level.

Currently, I have a career as a Marketing Representative for OneBeacon Insurance Company located in Boston, MA. My territory is the tri-state area of PA, and my main function is to bring OneBeacon's insurance product to market and appoint commercial lines insurance agency to become independent contractors to sell the products. I hit the ground running with OneBeacon four years ago, and built a $8 million dollar book of business becoming of one OneBeacon's top sales manager. I love my job and enjoy engaging people on a daily basis.

I am married and have two children, and 3 step children. I moved to Folcroft seven years ago and have enjoyed this community. My oldest son, David graduated from Temple University and is now working for the city of Philadelphia in the managing director's office. My youngest, Andrew is a second year student at Penn College of Technology pursuing a degree in IT and has agreed to help in the website functions for this upcoming 2009 Folcroft campaign. I couldn't be more proud.

I served for the Obama campaign where I became excited and interested in politics. I believe Obama is a once in a lifetime candidate, and brought hope for a new kind of politics. I never thought about running for office until I personally saw how people can make a difference, once united for the same cause. I gladly accepted the opportunity to run for Folcroft office and look forward to the opportunity to serve the people of Folcroft.
