Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Richard E. Romanko

Candidate for
Judge; Magisterial District Court; District 05-02-47

This information is provided by the candidate

I've spent the past few months walking through our five communities (Chalfant, Duquesne, East Pittsburgh, North Braddock and Turtle Creek), talking to the residents and listening to their concerns about our Magisterial District Court.

I'm running for District Judge because I know that I can make our District Court the best that it can be.

I want every citizen to know that they have the right to be heard, present their side of the issue, and have decisions rendered based on the facts and the law. I want every citizen to feel safe in their community and know that I will make the correct decisions.

I feel so strongly about this because I know the legal justice system. I've worked on cases ranging from landlord/tenant disputes and parking tickets, to more serious criminal cases like DUIs, burglaries, and domestic abuse. As a District Judge, my base of knowledge will come from my combined experience of law school, over 12 years as an attorney, and trying thousands of cases in district courts.

I assure you that I will work tirelessly to bring justice and respect to our District Court. I humbly ask that you come out on May 19th and cast your vote for District Judge for me, Richard Romanko.
