The Posistion
The district is a sixty million dollar operation with a top priority of providing the best educational opportunities to every student in the district and provide the district with the tools and resources needed to achieve that end. We must reduce the $108 million debt that consumes 11 cents of every tax dollar and be prepared for large future expenses. These include health care, retirement payment obligations, labor contracts and capital improvements.
