? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Jennifer Florida:

I have many years of experience serving first as a community leader involved in grassroots organizing around community isues and then moving them to resolution. I have served as 15th Ward Alderman since 2001. I have the relationships, experience and knowledge of government to effectively serve my 15th Ward constituents as well as the City of St. Louis and move our City forward.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

4. Eight years ago, I ran on a platform of "Building a Better Neighborhood" I promised to work on Neighborhood Stabilization, Housing and Economic Development. Much progress has been made. I will continue working closely with Block Captains and Neighborhood Leaders and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Dept. to resolve neighborhood issues. I have spear headed a pilot "Green Alley" project and will make efforts to expand green policies. I will continue to work on a Vacant Building Initiative executing LRA acquisition and redevelopment including Foreclosures. I will continue to fund the 15th Ward Home Repair Program which provides a $5000.00 Forgiveable Grant to income qualifying homeowners for necessary repairs. I will continue to work toward facilitating the completion of the redevelopment of Grand and Gravois. I will also continue efforts to increase pedestrian safety in our business districts by improving signalization and sidewalk improvements. I will work tirelessy to improve the quality of life for residents of the 15th Ward.
