Crime & Public SafetyBy Robyn Ritter SimonCandidate for Council Member; City of Los Angeles; District 5 | |

I am 100 percent committed to both the mayor's and police chief's commitment to increasing our police department.Public safety is number one issue for me. I am 100 percent committed to both the mayor's and police chief's commitment to increasing our police department. Our city is under-patrolled compared to other major cosmopolitan cities and everything we do to improve the city will not matter if we do not have a safe community. We will not be able to raise families or attract business. This is where it starts from. Even in financially tough times, we cannot waiver on bringing more police officers on board.
