Covina needs to live within its financial abilities. Unlike the federal government we cannot print money and unlike California we simply cannot sent out IOUs.

When I was on council before I supported bringing in Bert's Mega Mall and Ikea two retailers who have withstood the economic meltdown.

While on council I pushed through the only revenue balanced budget the city approved in the last 10 years and insisted that any new programs or pet project proposals include a funding source prior to review.

Public Safety is a top priority and I had the paramedic assessment engine concept implemented increasing the number of paramedics serving the residents of our great city.

Working to improve the community for the people is my political philosophy.
