Candidate for
City Attorney; City of Los Angeles

I am running to be the next City Attorney of Los Angeles because the challenges our City faces demand that our next City Attorney be an experienced prosecutor who already works in the office.

As the economy worsens, crime will rise and the City's budget will tighten. I am the only candidate for City Attorney that currently works in the office as a gang prosecutor. Therefore, I am the most qualified to lead our office to keep our neighborhoods safe and get the most out of your hard-earned tax dollars.

In addition to being an experienced attorney, I am a responsible businessman as well. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the same small business my immigrant grandfather built over 75 years ago. My family and I are proud to carry on my grandfather's family values by providing health insurance to all of our employees and their families in an era when many employers do not. Therefore, I know the challenges of running a successful business in today's economic climate.

A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and still live and work there today. Public service has always been a central part of my life. Altogether, my parents and I have served the public for more than 40 years.
