  • My top priority is to make Hamilton County into a shining example of a government that is efficient and addresses the concerns and quality of life issues of it's citizens. I will strive to have a county government that is competent, cohesive and goal oriented. I believe the exchange of ideas and principles should be done with mutual respect, based upon the best interests of the citizens of Hamilton County. I will work with all forty nine political jurisdictions within Hamilton County and the fifty one distinct communities within the City of Cincinnati. I plan to meet with at least two communities a week over and above those that have contacted me with business and concerns. Each of those communities has a set of goals that could be mutually beneficial to others. Let's have open dialog between communities instead of suspicion and rumors. I support a regional dialog to build a consensus on issues especially those concerning economic development. We need to address and/or implement ideas brought forth in the `Compass' plan, `Northern Kentucky 2015' plan and the `Agenda 360' plan now in the works. Topping the list of priorities are mass transit, sustainable jobs, educational opportunities, research and development, safety, youth retention (brain drain) and the mortgage crisis. In order to address the concerns of the citizens, all issues will be dealt with creatively and with efficacy in a manner that is fiscally responsible. The citizens of Hamilton County are tired of being nickeled and dimed to death. Any questions and issues brought before me will be handled respectfully and in a timely manner. My intention is to provide that citizen with feelings of accomplishment and closure.
  • I stand for every individual who has ever wanted a voice in how our county government operates. I stand for all the past, present and future citizens right to choose their representatives. The political party bosses should not have tried to circumvent the electoral process to "deal - out" the voters. I stand for accountability, openness, experience and ideas. I am determined to control events rather than being controlled by them. I am willing to make tough decisions based upon the needs of the people. I stand for working families trying to exist in a stagnant economy. I believe in economic development, providing sustainable jobs paying livable wages, meanwhile keeping an eye on the personal property rights of all parties concerned. I stand for providing quality services to the citizens of Hamilton County while remaining within the confines of our existing tax structure. I believe in the trust placed upon me to spend on needs not wants. I believe in providing safe secure neighborhoods in which to live and work. I believe in providing senior citizens, veterans and our children the care and respect they deserve. I believe in people and the ideas they bring to the table. I welcome input and opportunities to build consensus on issues. Lastly, I am committed to be hardest working humble servant this county has ever seen.
