? 1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Jeanne Kirkton:

Nurses are critical thinkers, decision makers and problem solvers as well as advocates and liaisons. These attributes serve me well as a Webster Groves City Councilmember. Because I understand the implications of state policy on local government, I am prepared to make sure that legislation is beneficial for my community.

Answer from Randy Jotte:

My qualifications include exposure to the diversity of needs of our society through my work as an emergency physician and a decade of legislative experience working with the public to achieve sustainable solutions. I am familiar with the problems our society faces and how to arrive at solutions.

? 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Jeanne Kirkton:

I believe that government that meets its basic obligations to citizens in the matters of fiscal responsibility, public education; health care, clean environment, public safety and sound infrastructure will attract more employers to Missouri and help build our economic strength in a manner that's good for everyone.

Answer from Randy Jotte:

Real solutions require all vested interests be included in the discussion and respected. I will bring contrary interests together to reach mutual understanding and results. I will apply this approach, which has worked for me in the past, to make health care, education, and the environment more secure for all.
