Questions & Answers

1. What, if anything, do you believe the federal government should do to control global climate change?

I have yet to be convinced that "actual" global warming is occurring soley by man alone. However, man's unchecked pollution of the planet by his own means must be stopped wherever evidence shows that this is the case.

2. What should the federal government do, if anything, to ensure that every American has health coverage?

First, we have to end the waste and corruption occuring on a day-to-day basis right now with medicare and other federal health programs. Then, learn from the mistakes that Canada and Great Britain have already made and don't repeat these same errors. I would then implement "pilot programs" by the 50 states and streamline these into a final, workable program. Then every american could afford a no waste and no corruption plan, and i would make it a non-profit institution, because no one has a right to make a profit on our citizens' health, no one!

3. What, if anything, should the federal government do about immigration?

We must remember that WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS HERE! With the exception of the native americans, everyone here has ancestors that were immigrants to start with. The real problem is that our federal immigration program is flawed and outdated. If everyone was processed in an orderly manner without intimidation, THERE WOULD BE NO ONE ENTERING THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALY TO BEGIN WITH! Then everyone would be paid the same federal minimum wage and eliminate employers who pay lower than federal wages because they can get away with it.
