If re-elected to the Bellevue Union School District board, I hope to continue in my role of making this school district an institution that balances the needs of the children, the taxpayers and the educators. With these financially uncertain times, school boards are often called upon to make tough and, sometimes, unpopular decisions. When making these decisions I always put the needs of today's students and tomorrows' as a number one priority.

I believe that to have a solvent school district in the future we must take care now to guard the district's funds. What is spent today is never available for tomorrow.

I will also continually strive to make sure all district employees and district policies reflect a caring attitude that addresses the human needs of our students, as well as, the educational ones.

I am proud of the role I have played in keeping this district solvent during difficult financial years. I feel I have continually made contributions to the well-being of our students by considering humanistic needs, as well as financial constraints.
