Public safety issues

Identify the problems
The Sheriffs Department is doing a good job but needs our help. I would like to see a citizens action committee formed. The committee would look at areas of public safety that may be lacking. It may also look at areas that do not need sworn officers. Lower paid community servce officers could be brought in to do those jobs. This would give our Police more time for priority calls.
