I live and work in District 3 without the benefit of owning an automobile and so my trips throughout the district are carried out on foot, on my bicycle, on MUNI and on cable cars, in a taxicab, and through car sharing.
Through these first hand experiences and through serving on a community advisory group to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), I have learned how our transit network can become a world class system that goes hand-in-hand with San Francisco's Transit First policy.
