I live and work in District 3 without the benefit of owning an automobile and so my trips throughout the district are carried out on foot, on my bicycle, on MUNI and on cable cars, in a taxicab, and through car sharing.

Proven Crime Fighter

As a former criminal prosecutor with the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, I know that our criminal justice agencies can work more effectively, individually and collectively. As a Judge Arbitrator for the Polk Street Community Court, I value the importance of genuine partnerships between our residents and our local police officers.

Small Business Innovator

As a neighbor who has founded a small business that operates in District 3, I'm someone who knows firsthand the challenges of creating jobs in San Francisco, and as Small Business Commissioner has fought to remove the barriers that our city government places on economic development.
