Candidate for
Board Member; Milpitas Unified School District

Three priorities:

- The most advanced High school juniors and seniors need opportunities to further excel.

- There is a large number of English learners in Milpitas whose inadequate English have hindered their performances and schools' rankings. Those English learners must be further empowered.

- Another High school and Elementary school might be needed to ease congestion.

And the following components are always required to improve our students' performances:

• The parents: At home, the parents must redouble their regular participation in their children's educational efforts.

• The students: They want to be challenged; they need more stimulating homework and interesting projects.

• The teachers: It has been proven repeatedly that students' intellectual curiosities are deeply motivated by enthusiastic and inspiring teachers.

• The resources: The students need well-equipped campuses, more quality time with their teachers, more stimulating experiments and projects.
