ü Financially sound city government- Every thing starts with the money. To maintain the quality city services that are provide, we need an ever increasing budget. I believe in increasing revenue not cutting expenses or raising taxes. That's the entrepreneur sprit in me.

ü City Growth-A general plan that shows were appropriate growth should take place and the infrastructure to support it. We need to look at how projects affect the whole city, what are the impacts to traffic, city services, schools, parks and most importantly public safety. When we talk development we sometimes forget about the citizens living in Mountain View NOW. We plan for the future and not the present. We need more of a balance when it comes to these decisions

ü Neighborhood Preservation-Respect the unique character of each neighborhood that new development is appropriate and matches the neighborhood.

ü More Parks, Open Space, and Sport Facilities-Manage the assets of the city - open space, parks, library, sports facilities and city buildings. So that they provide long term benefits that are sustainable into the future for our children +that means adequate funding for replacement, acquisition and maintenance. With the new developments in Mountain View we need to increase the sports facilities (lighted all weather fields) to handle the ever increasing demand from youth and adult leagues, and afterschool programs, have restrooms at all facilities.

ü Strong business sector-that provides sales tax dollars and a variety of retail sales and services.

To encourage business to locate in Mountain View, there needs to be a streamline review and
permitting process. Time is money.

ü Schools -partner up where ever we can. Joint use of sports facilities and after school programs
