  • · Born in Hammond, Indiana USA
  • · Graduate of Carlmont High school, Belmont California Class of 1973
  • · Former Community Service officer, City of San Bruno
  • · Former resident of Berryessa area North Valley San Jose.
  • · Graduated UOP San Jose BSBIS
  • · Graduated Keller Graduate school MSISM
  • · Resident of Milpitas for the last 10 years.

My work background is in hardware manufacturing and I am currently the Quality Manager for a contract manufacturing company . My formal education and degrees are in Information Technology Management. I have also been employed as a Data Analyst/Para-transit Engineer. As an adult student, I earned my Bachelors Degree from UOP in San Jose in my forties and my Master's Degree at Keller Graduate School a few years ago. I value lifelong education and continue to embrace new challenges. I would like to see the children of Milpitas embrace life-long-learning as I have and not have to leave the city in order to do it.

I have been involved in local organizations and the schools in Milpitas for more than ten years. I have been an active participant in the PTA and with the Milpitas Unified School District. As a stay-at-home dad for several years I have developed a different perspective on the challenges of being the partner that stays at home.

I have also been active in City wide events and activities and know many of the civic leaders in Milpitas on a less than formal basis. These informal associations are important to me and have resulted in support for my candidacy for the school board. Relationships are important to me and I will continue to build strong working relationships that will benefit the Milpitas Unified School District.

By attending PTA meetings from Sixth District to the local PTA's and getting involved with other community organizations such as the Kiwanis Clubs child spree, the School District's crab feed, PAL Soccer, Rainbow Theater, I am an accessible resource for staff, parents, and students. As PTA Council president, I facilitated the implementation of networking the PTA units via E-mail, as well as a number of information technology tools to support PTA efforts.
