First and foremost, my philosophy is that public education is a top priority for our society. I attended and my daughters attend public school. I respect those that choose private schools for themselves and their children but for me public education needs to be improved and strengthened so that today's children can be productive in society in the future. So, here I am, at the grassroots level trying to affect positive change for my children and their classmates so that we all can attain a better future.

Next, I believe in working together. Collaboration across even a small district like ours will be a key to success. We've had three distinct campuses and points of view for too long. As resources return to our district and as we look to employ them, we need to work as one in order to be efficient and effective in deploying them.

Lastly, I believe in free thinking. I have no agenda coming into this position, no grand plan that has preprogrammed me into certain decisions. I will entertain each choice on its own merits and hope that the other elected board members will do the same.

Thanks for your vote!!
