Work closely ewith City Staff and Council to improve proceedures.
After much communication with City Staff, Business owners, large and small and residential and commercial developers, much of the talk in La Quinta is to help speed up and streamline as many proceedures as possible. Both Staff and Council have worked through the current boom period to make things function, but much more needs to be done. Perhaps a temporary professional group should be set up to make recommendations to Staff and Council. Much can be gained and learned when all sides join together to make the process more functional. We need to take advantage of this slower process time we are experiencing, to move foreword. All involved, Staff, Council, Business People, and the general public will benifit from this exercise.
