Francisco Sanchez Biography Born March 29, 1974

Francisco Sanchez was born and raised in the City of Los Angeles. He and his wife Margarita have three wonderful children. The Sanchez's moved to Moreno Valley to give their children an opportunity to be raised in a smaller city and attend newer schools.

Service to his country After four years of active duty in the Marine Corps., and four more years in the reserves, Mr. Sanchez became active in his children's academic formation by volunteering in schools, serving on school committees and promoting parental involvement in schools. He firmly believes that a collaborative effort between proactive and informed parents, qualified educators and responsible administrators will produce the much needed change within the MVUSD.

Francisco Sanchez has been an active voice in our community by airing student and parental issues on the MVUSD board meetings as well as the Moreno Valley City Council meetings.

Politics Mr. Sanchez is a Democrat who believes in active participation especially in local government to bring about the change that this community seeks. He's been involved in past local races successfully electing new school board members. In addition, he volunteers with local campaigns to register Democrats at local stores and churches.

Mr. Sanchez belongs to the SEIU, and supports labor unions.
